GSA Proposal eLabPlus

The Fedmarket GSA eLabPlus is a hands-on workshop where experts walk you through the General Services Administration (GSA) proposal preparation process and assist you in leaving with a completed GSA Schedule proposal, ready to be submitted to GSA for review and award.

The Fedmarket GSA eLabPlus is designed for those individuals who have been given the daunting responsibility for preparing their company's GSA proposal. To become a GSA Schedule contractor, a vendor must first submit an offer in response to the applicable GSA Schedule solicitation. The GSA proposal document you must submit for award is a lengthy and complicated document.

Most companies that approach the GSA Schedule proposal find they are unable to complete it: no deadline on the proposal submission allows perpetual procrastination; the bureaucratic gobbledygook makes what you need to do inscrutable; and, ultimately the challenge revolves around how to price the proposal without risking financial viability.

To address these challenges, the Fedmarket GSA eLabPlus is run as a productive, three-day workshop where you are coached so that you can produce a compliant GSA Schedule proposal while proposing the highest prices possible to the Government. Knowledge of the GSA Solicitation document and GSA pricing policies and evaluation procedures is not required because of the intuitive approach used to create and assemble your GSA proposal.

After an initial presentation that helps induct you in the ways of GSA Schedule proposals, Fedmarket assists you in imparting strategic and tactical input into your proposal. This allows you to best present your case because we leverage your intimate knowledge of your business and transfer this directly into the GSA Schedule proposal. To maximize your productivity, Fedmarket provides you with a pre-eLab checklist that identifies the information you need in order to maximize your productivity.

Benefits of Obtaining a GSA Schedule

In the race to win government contracts, a GSA Schedule holder has an advantage. GSA contracts are the most effective way for companies new to the market to compete for federal prime dollars.

  • GSA Schedules are multiple award contracts that provide the vendors with federally-approved price lists. Both vendors and federal buyers have made using Schedules contracts the preferred way to conduct government business.
  • The Schedules program is open to all businesses, from small to large, and the program is fairly comprehensive.
  • Furthermore, a company's GSA Schedule proposal can be submitted to GSA at any time (unlike other multiple award schedules that can be submitted during a prescribed period of time).

By obtaining a GSA Schedule you benefit by:

  • Reducing the competition; within the rules
  • Avoiding a public bid and save vast sums of money that would otherwise have been spent writing a proposal
  • Closing deals within weeks instead of a countless number of months
  • Closing deals with any federal buyer who prefers to use a GSA Schedule contract

Every day, federal buyers are passing over vendors who are not GSA Schedule holders.

How the Fedmarket GSA eLabPlus Works

Upon completion of your Fedmarket GSA eLabPlus registration, Fedmarket will send each registrant explicit, detailed guidelines outlining the corporate data each registrant should gather in advance and bring to the Fedmarket GSA eLabPlus sessions.

In the event that you have questions concerning the outline or guidelines discussed above, you may contact Fedmarket's GSA consultants by telephone and we will work closely with you to address any issues you have.

Upon arriving at the Fedmarket GSA eLabPlus, each attendee will be directed to his or her own desktop computer. You will use the same computer for the duration of the three-day event. All of your corporate data may be stored on that computer and you alone will have access to that data. At the conclusion of the event, your work product will be made available to you for transport back to your office. All corporate data and your corporate offer will thereafter be deleted.

Attendees will be given detailed instructions on preparing a GSA offer. Among other learning tools, attendees will be given detailed templates, examples and case studies to assist in the offer's preparation.

After the instructional presentations, our instructors will walk attendees through a work session during which you will actually prepare your corporate GSA offer on our computers.

Telephones will be available for attendees to call their corporate offices for additional corporate experience and financial data, as needed.

Our instructors will review and critique attendee's proposals during the afternoon of third day of the event.

At the conclusion of the event, attendees will download their GSA proposal to a key drive for transport back to their offices.
