Despite the doom and gloom surrounding the federal government's spending cuts - the reality is the government is still doling out the dollars to federal contractors.  Federal spending in the government's 4th quarter, surpassed 3rd quarter spending by close to $38 billion.The spending doesn't end in 2012, there are over 1,600 contracts valued at over $141 billion projected to be awarded in the1st quarter of fiscal 2013.
